Food Alp Stube


Alp Stube is our Brewery in Sappada. Come and taste the flavours of our land in our typical parlour with brewery. Here, simple environments and high-quality products are our every-day recipe to offer always perfect lunches and dinners. On our menus, you will find many products from small local companies, to combine with craft beers and the best wines of the area.

Come taste the typical dishes of the Dolomites in our restaurant set in the romantic atmosphere of a wooden hut with a fireplace, near the woods. In the winter, through the large windows you can admire skiers while crossing the picturesque cross-country trail that runs alongside, and in the summer, you can sit in the garden listening to the singing of wild birds.
The Alp Stube kitchen is open all day all year round, with extended hours from 10 am to 10 pm, and is particularly attentive to the little ones: for your children, we have in fact created a Kids Bio-Menu, with indoor and outdoor play area. In addition to lunch and dinner, we also take care of your breakfast: come to taste every morning the rich proposal of genuine local products at our Alp-Buffet.
                                                                                                             
And remember: at Stube, our guests can find every day fresh bread, milk, local products and take-away breakfast bags.

Snacks with Local Products

  • Herdsman Platter with cheeses from the Sappada diary
  • Hunter’s Snack with salted meat, clock of dried meat, whole hunter’s salami, slice of cheese, fresh bacon, butter and horseradish
  • Plodar Runde: rösti with warm potatoes and fresh goat cheese 

Alpine fondues and Homemade Sweets

  • Cheese Fondue with croutons
  • Bourguignonne meat fondue with sauces
  • Dark chocolate fondue with fruit
  • Warm apple strudel with whipped cream
  • Crepes with berries or chocolate
  • Panna cotta by Sappada dairy with blueberries or St. John's Wort syrup,
  • Chocolate fondue with seasonal fruits

Traditional Alpine One-Course Meals

  • Alp Stube: Goulash soup in a bread bowl
  • Piave River: Trout fillets, potatoes and cherry tomatoes
  • Alpina Diary: Grilled cheese, polenta
  • Gattista: Grilled cheese, sausage and potatoes
  • Hacker: Pork knuckle (600g) and potatoes
